The Clinical Medical Assistant program will prepare you for a long and rewarding career in the exciting medical field. You will learn essential skills like blood pressure reading, temperature and respiratory signal reading, and pulse procedures. You will also learn about the aseptic technique, laboratory testing procedures, and how to assist physicians during exams.
The Medical Billing and Coding program is designed to prepare you for an entry level position as a medical insurance biller or coder. As a graduate, you will be ale to work in physician's offices, hospitals, clinics and other health care facilities.
Electrocardiograms (EKG/ECG) are performed routinely during medical examinations, pre-surgical evaluations, before initiating fitness programs, and in the assessment and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. By enrolling in the EKG program, you will learn how to measure electrical impulses that the heart uses to pump and regulate frequency of heart beats.
This course will provide you with professional knowledge needed to operate successfully as a Phlebotomy Technician. After you graduate, you will become certified after passing the National Certification exam. As a Phlebotomy graduate, you will work in medical offices, clinics, and private laboratories.
Patient Care Technicians are multi-skilled health care professionals. This program is designed to educate and train you to function as a nursing support staff who is above the level of a nursing assistant.
